‘Bulan Menari’ Dipenghujung 2019
Handphone, Unbalance, Feeling in Tenganan dan Perompak adalah empat judul karya seni yang tampil pada ajang ‘Bulan Menari’ di Kampus Insititut Seni Indonesia (ISI) Denpasar, Sabtu 28 Desember 2019. Jika disaksikan secara serius penampilan keempat karya itu menyampaikan pesan. Setiap koreografer menampilkan sajian seni yang kreatif. Apalagi, diisi dengan diskusi diakhir acara, sehingga pentas seni itu menjadi ajang untuk edukasi, khususnya bagi para penggelut seni dan masyarakat umum.
Handpone merupakan karya seni tari dari I Wayan Budiarsa, S.Sn., M.Si. menyampaikan pesan bahwa handpone itu penting, namun dengan semakin majunya teknologi, maka semakin bijaklah dalam menggunakannya. Dalam karya itu Budiarsa menegaskan, handphone ku handphone mu, aku ya aku dan kamu ya kamu. “Karya seni Handpone itu lebih mengkritisi penggunaan Gadget, HP yang berlebihan. Karya itu sebagai bentuk kritik sosial. Karya tu diangkat dari pengalaman pribadi sang koreografer. Itu memang menjadi realita di jaman sekarang ini,” kata I Gusti Ngurah Sudibya, selaku koordinator hajatan Bulan Menari.
Karya berjudul Unbalance merupakan hasil ciptaan Yoga Aditya. Tari Unbalance mengangkat tentang persepsi, interpretasi koreografer terhadap perlakuan hukum di Indonesia yang “tidak seimbang” terhadap pelanggarnya. Lewat garapan ini, Yoga mengharapkan agar hukum betul-betul menjadi timbangan yang seimbang, tidak tajam kebawah dan tumpul keatas. “Namun secara visual, gerak yang dimunculkan justru masih nampak seimbang. Padalah dalam koreografi ada desain atas disebut asimetri yang memberi dimensi lain terhadap kata unbalance,” ungkap Dosen Seni Pertunjukan ISI Denpasar itu.
Penampil ketiga dari Tartu. Art, SMK Negeri 3 Sukawati yang mengangkat judul Feeling in Tenganan yang mengkritik, ketika cinta terhalang olehNya, maka semua harapan ini menjadi musnah. Karya ini mengangkat kisah cinta seorang pemudi kepada pemuda yang masih malu-malu di daerah Tenganan. “Karya ini masih perlu pendalaman tentang kekhasan kisah kasih remaja di Tenganan. Disatu sisi terbelenggu oleh adat istiadat yang ketat, disisi lain inginnya kebebasan dalam mencintai kekasih. Meski demikian, menjadi sebuah kebanggaan karena siswa SMK Negeri 3 Sukawati itu mampu mengangkat tradisi di Tenganan yang sudah melegenda,” papar Sudibya.
Sementara penampil keempat, karya tari berjudul Perompak merupakan buah karya dari I Made Adhi Wiguna. Karya ini mengisahkan seorang penakluk samudra yang ditakuti, dan sebelah matanya ditutupi. Karya tari ini terinspirasi dari sebuah cerita novel yang ditugaskan oleh Dosen Pengampu matakuliah Penghayatan Sastra (Kustiyanti, Dayu Arya, dan Ngurah). Karya tari ini nuansa tradisinya masih tampak kuat, baik dari sikap penari, maupun aksentuasi musiknya. Sang koreografer belum sempurna mengungkapkan sejauh mana korelasi perompak dalam kehidupan saat ini.
Menurut Sudibya, mengarungi samudera itu identik dengan mengarungi kehidupan di dunia saat ini. Wujud perompak bisa menghantui setiap gerak laku manusia, baik dalam bidang ekonomi, sosial, budaya, dan teknologi. “Semua itu dapat membunuh kita, jika tidak bisa merespon dengan baik. Semua bisa menjadi perompak, jika tidak mampu mengendalikan untuk kehidupan yang harmonis atau dengan istilah “salunglung sabayantaka”,” jelas Ketua Senat Fakultas Seni Pertunjukan (2018 – 2021) ini.
Dalam sesi dialog, Gus Bang (Dosen Tari) mengkritisi karya tari berjudul Feeling in Tenganan yang dalam penampilannya menggunakan atribut tapak dara didada penari putra. Menurut Gus Bang agar hati-hati menggunakan tapak dara karena sudah memiliki makna dan fungsi yang kuat di Bali. Panitia pelaksana mengucapkan terimakasih banyak kepada seluruh pengisi acara dari awal sampai akhir, sehingga ajang Bulan Menari ini memiliki warna yang berbeda. “Usai pementasan, seperti biasa diisi dengan dialog untuk memberi ruang kepada para seniman yang tampil ataupun penonton untuk saling memberi dan tukar pengalaman. Kami rasa ini penting untuk memahami sejauhmana proses itu dilakukan,” tutup Sudibya. (AD/Ar)
