Bali Gelar Festival Budaya Dunia
Gubernur Bali I Wayan Koster bakal menggelar Festival Budaya Dunia di Bali. Festival yang pertama kalinya itu rencananya digelar pada November 2020. “Provinsi Bali akan melaksanakan agenda besar berskala bidang seni yakni Festival Budaya Dunia di Bali. Saat ini, sedang mempersiapkan konsepnya,” kata Gubernur Koster saat menghadiri Hari Ulang Tahun (HUT) ke-34 Dinas Kebudayaan Provinsi Bali di Gedung Ksirarnawa, Taman Budaya Provinsi Bali, Selasa 7 Januari 2020.
Festival tersebut, akan menampilkan budaya masing-masing Negara yang dilaksanakan di Pulau Bali. “Nanti kita akan buka, berapa negara yang akan ikut. Terutama negara-negara yang budayanya kuat. Nah, itu sedang disusun thor minggu ini. Setelah itu akan diundang konsulat dan duta besar agar disosialisasikan ke negaranya masing-masing,” tegas Gubernur Koster.
Kepala Dinas Kebudayaan Provinsi Bai, I Wayan Adnyana mengatakan, Festival Budaya Dunia bertujuan untuk mengenalkan kepada masyarakat dunia, bahwa Bali sebagai pusat dibidang kebudayaan. Pada 2020 ini mulai dirintis dan rencananya akan menjadi agenda tahunan. “Kami akan diskusikan dulu dengan para tokoh bagaimana mengelola sebuah event internasional di Bali. Ini bersifat inisiatif dan partisipatif. Ada beberapa kegiatan yang dibiayai dari APBD, dan beberapa kegiatan oleh CSR,” ungkapnya.
Festival ini akan digelar di beberapa tempat di Bali, dengan harapan bisa mempromosikan tempat-tempat yang akan dijadikan tempat berfestival. “Beberapa negara yang rencananya akan diundang seperti negara-negara Asia Tenggara, China, Korea, Australia, dan Amerika Serikat,” ungkap akademisi Institut Seni Indonesia (ISI) Denpasar itu.
Bali sangat kaya dengan lokasi penyelenggeraan festival bertaraf internasional itu. Festival itu bisa berlangsung di Taman Ayun, atau di Wantilan Besakih dan juga bisa di tempat lain. “Kami baru himpun beberapa, termasuk situs-situs budaya yang non sakral. Jadi kegiatan ini, sekaligus bisa mengembangkan dan memanfaatkan cagar budaya yang ada. Selama ini, cagar budaya masih pada ruang pelindungan saja, belum pemanfaatannya,” pungkas Kun Adnyana. (AD/Ar)
