berfose di sebuah taman di Melbourne
Memang beda dengan pementasan kami di Espanade Singapura, Juli 2019 lalu. Di Melbourne ini kami benar-benar harus disiplin waktu, juga menjaga kesehatan. Mulai dari tanggal 20 sampai 29 Februari 2020 di Negeri Kangguru ini, tentu menjadi hari melelahkan bagi saya, juga bagi anak-anak Komunitas Bumi Bajra. Dalam rentang waktu sepuluh hari itu kami setidaknya sembilan kali naik panggung, mempergelarkan teater tari The Seen and Unseen (Sekala-Niskala) di tempat yang sama dengan penonton yang berbeda-beda.
Kami harus jaga stamina. Seperti biasa kami lakukan pemanasan selalu, latihan selalu, mencoba blocking panggung, hingga pentas yang prima. Bisa dibilang puncak dari perjalanan Komunitas Bumi Bajra di Melbourne, Australia, ini.
Tapi jangan cemas. Kami melewati hari demi hari dengan senang dan riang. Awalnya memang menegangkan, namun hari-hari berikutnya adalah hari-hari biasa. Latihan dan pentas, pentas dan latihan, sudah menjadi jiwa keseharian kami. Saya jadi ingat kakek di kampung yang petani, di mana menanam, menyiangi dan memanen adalah jiwa keseharian, sehingga siapa pun tak akan bisa menyuruhnya diam.
Di tengah padat jadwal pentas, kami masih bisa mencuri-curi waktu untuk jalan-jalan menikmati apa yang ada di Melbourne. Selain pergi untuk berbelanja, kami sempatkan waktu pergi ke museum, misalnya ke Melbourne Museum dan National Galery Victoria (NGV).
Di museum itu banyak hal saya lihat, banyak hal yang tidak pernah saya lihat di Bali. Misalnya, ada hutan yang dimuseumkan, fosil hewan, bahkan hewan bekas kebakaran hutan pun diawetkan dan di museumkan. Di National Galery Victoria kami bisa melihat barang barang bersejarah, seperti patung kuno, baju kuno, dan barang kuno lainnya. Saya takjub.
Di luar jadwal pentas, kami juga sempat memberikan workshop kepada orang-orang yang ingin tahu tentang Komunitas Bumi Bajra. Misalnya 23 Februari, jam satu siang di sebuah taman dengan cuaca yang hangat, kami menceritakan komunitas kami dan menceritakan tentang teater dan tari yang akan kami dipentaskan di Martin Myer Arena.
Orang-orang mendengarkan kami dengan sangat serius. Padahal kami hanya anak-anak. Seru tapi malu juga berbicara di hadapan orang-orang yang tampak semua amat terpelajar itu. Kami juga memberikan contoh tari legong dan kecak yang terkenal di Bali. Mereka memperhatikan kami. Dan kami senang.
Kami melakukan itu semua hanya pada waktu luang. Dan pada akhirnya kami pentas sesuai jadwal yang sudah ditetapkan dengan ketat. Pentas di sini rasanya sangat indah, seru, mengharukan, sedih, dan senang. Pasti ada rasa deg degan sebelum pentas tetapi saya dan teman yang lain harus maksimal, menari dengan rasa dan jiwa.
Penonton sangat antusias. Dari anak-anak, anak sekolahan, orang tua, APAM (Australian Performing Arts Market), bahkan ada orang Indonesia yang menonton disini. Kami diberikan berjuta tepuk tangan. Itu yang membuat perasaan senang.
Pertunjukan ke-5, yakni tanggal 26 Februari tiba-tiba ada Prof. Wayan Dibia, tokoh seni dari Bali yang di Bali saja jarang bisa kami temui. Prof Dibia menonton kami dan usai menonton sempat menyampaikan pesan kepada pengasuh kami, Dayu Ani.
“Tu Dayu selamat atas pertunjukan tadi. Niki mawasta teater tari karena membawakan kisah dengan bahasa tari. Anak-anak punya desiplin tinggi. Semoga mereka bisa punya sikap berkesenian seperti ini sampai mereka dewasa. Sampaikan kesemuanya, Dini, Mas Danang, Bu Ayu, sareng arin-arin Tu. Pentasnya sangat mengesankan. Rahajeng.” Begitu pesan Prof Dibia. (B)

Sejak SD melakukan berbagai kegiatan seni seperti menari, megambel dan main musik di berbagai event seni seperti Pesta Kesenian Bali. Anak asuh di Sanggar Bumi Bajra ini masih menempuh pendidikan di SMAN 1 Kuta Utara.
