Reuni Agung ISTAKARI Diawali dengan “Majaya-jaya”
Ikatan Siswa Tamatan Konservatori Karawitan Bali (ISTAKARI) melaksanakan upacara “majaya-jaya” di Pura Taman Budaya Bali di Denpasar, Minggu (15/3). Upacara tersebut, mengawali kegiatan Reuni Agung ISTAKARI yang bakal digelar pada, Juli 2020 mendatang. Upacara majaya-jaya dipimpin oleh Ida Pedanda Gde Putra Bajing dari Griya Tegal Jingga dan diikuti oleh seluruh panitia yang juga seniman yang pernah mengasah kemampuan seni di sekolah seni milik masyarakat Bali itu.
Usai pelaksanaan upacara tersebut, Ida Pedanda Gde Putra Bajing mengatakan, upacara majaya-jaya memiliki makna supaya apa yang akan dilaksanakan, bisa berjalan lancar serta semakin cemerlang dan cerah. Upacara ini, juga sebagai bentuk penyemangat dengan memohon restu kepada Sang Pencipta agar apa yang akan dilaksanakan bisa tercapai dengan baik. “Kami memohon kehadapan Ida Sang Hyang Widhi melalui upacara ini,” wejang Ida Pedanda yang juga sebagai alumni Kokar angkatan pertama.
Panitisa yang juga Ketua Umum Reuni ISTAKARI Sangraha Budaya, Wayan Madra Ariasa mengatakan, para seniman yang merupakan alumni Kokar sudah terkumpul sebanyak tiga ribu orang, yang bakal tergabung ke dalam grup WhatsApp. Hari ini, merupakan kegiatan memohon spirit secara niskala untuk kegiatan temu kangen persaudaraan ini. “Mereka ada yang tidak pernah ketemu 20 hingga 60 tahun. Jadi temu kangen ini adalah lintas generasi, 60 tahun berdirinya Kokar,” paparnya.
Madra Aryasa menambahkan, alumni Kokar tersebar disegala penjuru Indonesia, bahkan di berbagai negara di dunia. Para alumni ini akan pulang untuk bertemu memberikan ide dan juga gagasan untuk kepentingan Bali, terutama tentang seni Bali. “Kegiatan itu akan berlangsung selama tiga hari (24-26 Juli 2020) di Taman Budaya Bali. Sebelum itu, juga melakukan rapat koordinasi pada 28 Maret 2020 ini, untuk memantapkan reuni akbar ini,” imbuhnya.
Prof. I Made Bandem selaku tim pengarah memaparkan sejarah berdirinya Kokar, orang-orang yang terlibat, hingga perubahan nama akibat undang-undang pendidikan di Indonesia. Kokar dulu, sempat berubah naman menjadi Sekolah Menengah Karawitan Indonesia (SMKI) hingga menjadi Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) Negeri 3 Sukawati. “Saat ini, banyak ada SMK sehingga sekolah seni itu menjadi rancu. Dalam pertemuan nanti, ada baiknya membicarakan untuk mengembalikan SMK itu menjadi sekolah seni. Hal ini menjadi penting, agar ada perbedaan sekolah kejuruan, dan sekolah seni. Identitas ini sebagai bentuk pengakuan terhadap seni itu sendiri,” jelasnya.
Hal senada dikatakan Prof. Dr. I Wayan Dibia, pengembalian nama menjadi sekolah yang bergerak dibidang seni itu, untuk menguatkan identitas sekolah. Saat ini banyak ada sekolah kejuruan, namun bergerak dibidang pariwisata, bisnis dan lain sebagainya, sehingga sekolah seni itu butuh kejelasan. Jasa sekolah Kokar sangat kental terhadap para seniman Bali. “Inilah nanti akan kami diskusikan dan usulkan untuk mengembalikan sekolah seni ini,” ucapnya. (B/AD)
