D’Story Rilis Album Single, Lagu Doa Agar Wabah Segera Berlalu
D’Story, merilis single perdana bertajuk “Dumogi Rahayu” Jumat, 10 April 2020. Rilis album tersebut melalui platform music menarik. Kehadiran lagu tersebut menandai kemunculan Band asli Denpasar itu kembali. Maklum, grup band itu sempat tertidur sekitar 2 tahun dari industri musik. “Setelah rilis album dua tahun lalu, kami memilih untuk menuntaskan jadwal manggung kami,” kata Rama sang vocalis. Minggu (12/4/2020).
Rama mengatakan, Pandemi Covid-19 ini memberikan ruang bagi bandnya untuk kembali merampungkan karya. Satu demi satu karya digarap dari rumah masing-masing personel yang kemudian diserahkan ke timnya. “Jadi ini juga bermanfaat lebih karena kami bisa berkarya dan tentunya memiliki waktu lebih untuk keluarga,” imbuhnya.
Lagu yang diciptakan oleh sang gitaris, Dek Angga, adalah doa agar wabah yang saat ini tengah melanda segera berlalu. “Kami, mungkin bukan satu-satunya yang memuat lagu tentang ini, namun tidak salahnya kami sebagi musisi untuk ikut memberikan suport dan juga doa agar wabah ini segera berlalu,”pungkasnya.
D’Story saat ini diperkuat oleh Rama (vocal), Dek Angga (lead guitar), Mang Sayang (rythem), Tu Adi (bassis) dan Agus (drumm) pada 15 Februari 2018, D’Story secara resmi merilis album pertamanya dengan judul “Rasa Sing Kel Mati”. (B/*)
