Dialog Dini Hari Rilis Single “Garis Depan”
Penghormatan untuk Para Medis dan Dokter Dalam Menghadapi Covid-19
Dialog Dini Hari kembali merilis sebuah single baru yang diberi judul lantang, “Garis Depan”. Lagu ini merupakan penghormatan untuk mereka-mereka yang ada di garis paling depan dalam cerita menghadapi pandemi Corona Virus Disease 2019 (Covid-19). “Ada beberapa temanku dokter dan paramedis yang sudah terlalu lama nggak pulang ke rumah,” kata Pohon Tua, penulis lagu utama Dialog Dini Hari.
Perjalanan dunia hari ini, punya banyak sisi. Perkembangan persoalannya, ternyata juga membuat Dialog Dini Hari, secara kolektif terus bergumul dengan isu-isu yang sama; tentang bagaimana persoalan umat manusia ini ditanggulangi, sekaligus melihat ke depan dan terus menghidupi harapan untuk dunia yang lebih baik dari hari ini. “Dalam kasus kami, aku ingat dulu ketika sibuk tur, main di sana, di sini, itu butuh waktu lama untuk bengong di rumah biar dapat ide untuk karya baru. Dan itu benar kok, ketika band nggak ada kesibukan lain, ya waktunya dipakai untuk ngobrol dan diskusi. Akhirnya bikin sesuatu,” ucapnya.
Garis Depan dan juga Kulminasi II (single yang dirilis tiga pekan sebelumnya) juga akan menjadi bagian dari Setara, EP baru yang sedang digarap oleh Dialog Dini Hari. Serangkaian lagu di EP ini dikerjakan dengan metode yang mengharuskan mereka merespon situasi yang ada; bekerja mandiri dari studio rumah masing-masing, meminimalisir komunikasi fisik dan mengubahnya jadi serangkaian obrolan virtual serta menahan rindu untuk bercengkerama dengan orang-orang yang banyak membantu Dialog Dini Hari bertahun-tahun. “Karena ngobrol dan diskusi itu tadi, dari satu lagu jadi dua lagu, jadi tiga lagu dan seterusnya. Prosesnya terus berlangsung,” lanjut Pohon Tua.
Kulminasi II yang tadinya diniatkan sebagai sebuah single lepas, ternyata berkembang menjadi single berikutnya, Garis Depan, dan akan menjadi EP Setara di kemudian hari. “Kayaknya juga, kami masih punya banyak api yang tertahan paska Parahidup rilis tahun lalu. Itu yang juga membuat kami terus menulis,” repetnya lagi.
Parahidup adalah album penuh ketiga Dialog Dini Hari yang dirilis tahun 2019 yang lalu. Periode yang ada di depan mata kita semua ini, bisa jadi merupakan periode paling produktif untuk urusan karya dalam kisah panjang Dialog Dini Hari. “Selamat mendengarkan Garis Depan. EP Setara, kemungkinan besar akan dirilis bulan Juni 2020. Bisa mundur, bisa juga tepat waktu. Namanya juga kesenian, yang selalu berjalan paralel dengan ketidakpastian,” imbuhnya.
