55 Pegiat Sastra Bali Modern Baca Cerpen dan Puisi Peringati HUT ke-75 RI
Merayakan Hari Ulang Tahun Republik Indonesia tak melulu dengan makan kerupuk ataupun panjat pinang. Di tengah pandemi Covid-19, ada cara unik yang dilakukan oleh pegiat sastra Bali modern untuk merayakan HUT ke-75 RI, yakni dengan membaca cerpen/puisi berbahasa Bali secara online. Dan dalam sejarah sastra Bali modern, kegiatan ini merupakan yang pertama digelar. Walaupun sastra Bali modern saat ini termarjinalkan di tanahnya sendiri yakni Bali, namun antusias peserta tak pernah padam.
Ini terlihat dari jumlah peserta yang bergabung dalam acara yang digelar secara serentak pada Minggu (16/8/2020) yang mencapai 55 orang. Salah seorang penggagas acara, I Putu Supartika (26) mengatakan kegiatan yang digelar ini merupakan kelanjutan dari kegiatan yang telah digelar sebelumnya yakni membaca cerpen Bali online yang sudah memasuki edisi ke-99. “Sebelumnya sudah ada kegiatan serupa, namun sehari satu pembaca. Yang sekarang serentak dalam sehari dan ini untuk merayakan pembacaan yang ke-100 sekaligus memperingati Hari Ulang Tahun ke-75 Republik Indonesia,” kata lelaki asal Karangasem ini.
Supartika mengatakan, acara ini diikuti oleh berbagai kalangan dan kebanyakan dari generasi muda mulai dari penulis, guru, dosen, mahasiswa, jero mangku, maupun wartawan. Ini membuktikan jika masih ada generasi muda yang peduli dengan sastra Bali modern. Kegiatan yang bertajuk “Maca Cerpen lan Puisi Bali Online Keroyokan” (membaca cerpen dan puisi Bali online keroyokan) ini menurut Supartika pertama kali terjadi dalam sejarah sastra Bali modern. “Kalau membaca secara langsung, mungkin ada, tapi tidak sebanyak ini juga. Untuk online ini pertama kali dalam sejarah sastra Bali modern, bahkan di Bali ini yang pertama kalinya,” jelasnya.
Selama sehari atau 24 jam, para peserta ini bebas membacakan karya sesuai dengan keinginannya masing-masing tanpa dibatasi waktu. Peserta bebas memilih karya yang akan dibacanya, bisa membaca cerpen atau puisi, ataupun cerpen dan puisi sekaligus, dan bisa membaca karya sendiri, maupun karya penulis lain.
Saat membaca, peserta melakukan siaran langsung di akun facebook masing-masing, selain itu ada pula yang melakukan siaran langsung di instagram. Tak ada ketentuan atau kriteria khusus, karena pembaca bisa bebas mengekspresikan karya yang dibacanya. “Ini sekaligus langkah kami untuk memasyarakatkan bahasa Bali khususnya sastra Bali modern yang kurang dikenal di Bali. Kami juga mengajak peserta untuk tetap tangguh dan produktif berkreasi di tengah pandemi Covid-19, sekaligus memupuk semangat kemerdekaan,” paparnya.
Dipilihnya pembacaan secara online ini dikarenakan saat ini masih dalam masa pandemi Covid-19. Selain itu, juga memanfaatkan kecanggihan teknologi saat ini dan membuktikan bahwa sastra Bali modern tak melulu hadir dalam ruang konvensional, namun bisa hadir di semua ruang termasuk media sosial.
Salah seorang pembaca cerpen membaca secara live dari Jepang, I Kadek Gede Doni Merta Marantika mengaku sangat antusias mengikuti acara ini. Apalagi bagi dirinya yang saat ini berada jauh dari Bali dan sekaligus rindu Bali. Doni membaca cerpen berjudul Sirep Ngajak Meme karya I Gede Putra Ariawan yang berkisah tentang kesetiaan anak kepada ibunya dan ibu-ibu yang lainnya dan selalu mengajak mereka tidur. “Sebagai orang Bali yang saat ini berada di luar Bali, saya merasa diri saya berada di Bali dengan ikut membaca cerpen berbahasa Bali ini. Saya rindu Bali dan saya mengobatinya dengan membaca karya berbahasa Bali,” ujarnya.
Seorang dosen Bahasa dan Sastra Bali Unud, I Gede Gita Purnama Arsa Putra sangat mengapresiasi acara ini. Acara pertama yang ada dalam sejarah sastra Bali modern ini menurutnya perlu terus dilakukan agar bisa memasyarakatkan sastra Balu modern itu sendiri.
Tak hanya itu, menurutnya hal ini juga menunjukkan bahwa dalam berkarya tak terbatas ruang, waktu, maupun keadaan. “Membaca cerpen secara online melibatkan lebih dari 50 peserta ini sangat fenomenal. Ganas,” celoteh Gita Purnama.
Ini penghargaan besar untuk pangelingsir (tetua) sastra Bali modern, seperti Pak Made Sanggra, Pak Nyoman Manda, Pak Djelantik Santha, termasuk Pak Ajip Rosidi yang telah memberikan penghargaan Sastera Rancage bagi penulis sastra daerah. (B/*)
