The Seen And Unseen pentas perdana pada tanggal 20 Februari jam 19.00 di Martyn Myer Arena, Victorian College of The Arts.
Hari-hari serius, menegangkan, sekaligus juga menyenangkan dalam proses pementasan The Seen And Unseen di Melbourne Australia, dimulai Senin 17 Februari 2020, setelah pada Minggu malam, kami, anak-anak Sanggar Bumi Bajra tertidur pulas, termasuk saya.
Pagi, terdengar pintu digedor. Seseorang membangunkan saya. Tapi saya masih ingin tidur. Perlahan suara itu semakin keras dan saya pun terbangun dengan mata masih mengantuk. Ini baru jam 7, dan kami memang berjanji bangun jam 7. Ya, tapi ini jam 7 waktu Bali. Di Melbourne jam sudah menunjukkan pukul 10. Saya, juga anak-anak lain seperti kepupungan.
Setelah bangun dengan mata masih mengantuk, kami sarapan, lalu bersiap siap untuk olahraga pagi. Kami olahraga di taman yang kemarin kami kunjungi ketika baru tiba di Melbourne. Kami melakukan jogging, yoga, dan latihan akrobatik ditemani hangatnya matahari pagi. Setidaknya kami bisa mengahatkan tubuh dan menjaga stamina, karena cuaca dingin sekitar 20 derajat celcius.
Dua jam berlalu, olahraga selesai. Tubuh kami terasa hangat. Senin pagi itu sebenarnya masih bebas, artinya kami belum dijadwal latihan koreografi dan mencoba-coba panggung. Kami masih bisa duduk-duduk agak santai di pojokan gues house, di sebuah taman kecil dengan begitu banyak pepohonan.
Di tengah kami ada Ayu Laksmi (dalam film The Seen And Unseen berperan sebagai ibu Tantra dan Tantri). Kami menganggap Ayu Laksmi sebagai ibu kami, seperti juga Dayu Ani. Ibu Ayu Laksmi ngobrol bersama kami tentang banyak hal, terutama tentang bagaimana pentingnya kita bisa menguasai Bahasa Inggris dan informasi teknologi alias IT untuk bisa menguasai dunia di masa depan.
Sekitar jam 3 kami akan pergi ke Melbourne Central untuk membeli makanan. Kami berjalan sejauh 1,7 kilometer. Ditengah perjalanan ada seorang pengamen yang lihai memainkan perkusi. Kami tertarik, dan langsung menghampiri. Lima menit pertunjukan dan kami tiba-tiba diajak bermain bersama. Namanya Duckman, dia sangat ramah dengan pengunjung. Dan saya tertarik dengan kisah hidupnya yang tinggal sebatang kara karena dibuang oleh orangtuanya. Kami sempatkan berfoto dengannya. “Agar saya juga bisa terkenal,” katanya.
Setelah melihat pertunjukan yang cukup menarik, kami melanjutkan perjalanan. Sekitar 20 menit kami sampai. Satu jam kami habiskan untuk berbelanja. Lalu kami mengunjungi Victoria Museum walaupun tidak sampai ke dalam. Kami hanya mengabadikan moment diluar museum. Hari sudah malam, kami pun balik ke gues house dan langsung tertidur lelap.
Selasa 18 Februari 2020. Hari ketiga kami di Melbourne. Dan ini hari pertama kami latihan dengan sungguh-sungguh. Pada jam sembilan waktu setempat kami sudah siap untuk berangkat ke Martin Myer Arena untuk latihan dan mencoba setingan panggung. Saat itu hujan, dan udara sangat dingin. Kami harus membawa baju yang tebal supaya tidak kedinginan.
Jam 9.30 kami sudah sampai di Martin Myer. Kami langsung masuk studio. Di sini kami diperkenalkan dengan crew Asia Topa. Basa basi sedikit untuk menghangatkan suasana, karena diluar sangat dingin usai hujan. Setelah itu Kami pemanasan seperti biasa, mencoba latihan dari awal sampe akhir.
Kami juga diundang makan siang bersama team dari Teater Planet (Garin Nugroho) beserta team Asia Topa. Sangat senang karena dapat berkenalan dengan orang baru dengan obrolan yang mengesankan.
Sejam berlalu, kami langsung mencoba latihan di panggung. Kaget, saat latihan kami diawasi seorang petugas dari Australia. Istilahyang tepat sebenarnya kami dijaga, karena kami anak-anak. Orang itu mengamati, mengawasi dan mengingatkan kami jika setiap jam kami harus istirahat 10 menit.
Dari Dayu Ani saya mendengar bahwa di Australia pekerjaan atau kegiatan yang bersentuhan dengan anak-anak harus memiliki surat ijin dari pemerintah bahwa yang bersangkutan layak bekerja dengan anak-anak. Dan karena kami memang anak-anak, maka kami diawasi dan dijaga agar tak terjadi hal-hal yang membahayakan untuk anak-anak.
Saya terkesan, betapa seriusnya pemerintah Australia menjaga anak-anak, melindungi, dan mengawasinya, meski kami anak-anak dari Indonesia. Bayangan saya melayang ke Bali, ke sejumlah sekaa gong kebyar anak-anak yang pentas di Pesta Kesenian Bali. Mereka biasanya latihan sampai malam. Adakah mereka sudah mendapat perlindungan sebagai anak-anak?
Di Martin Myer Arena itu dua orang pengawas kemudian juga berkunjung. Mereka memastikan set panggung dan semuanya aman untuk anak-anak. Jam 6 latihan usai. Kami beristirahat untuk mempersiapkan hari yang lebih menegangkan, besoknya.
Galungan
Besoknya, Rabu 19 Februari 2020, adalah Hari Raya Galungan. Dan untuk kali pertama saya merayakan Galungan di negara lain. Tentu saya tak dapat merasakan lawar, urutan, dan kuah jukut. Ada sedikit rasa sedih. Namun anak-anak Sanggar Bumi Bajra menyempatkan diri untuk maoton Galungan dengan banten yang sangat sederhana. Pagi hari ini kami juga sembahyang seperti biasa untuk memohon kelancaran dari pementasan The Seen And Unseen.
Dan tibalah saat yang benar-benar menegangkan. Rabu ini adalah waktunya dress reherseal. Ya bisa dibilang pementasan pertama. Untuk persiapan, kami latihan sederhana di dalam kamar.
Sekitar satu jam kami selesai latihan. Jam 12.30 kami harus sudah berada di panggung untuk mencoba dress rehearsal. Mandi, makan kami lakukan dengan cepat, supaya tidak telat sampai disana. The Seen And Unseen pentas perdana pada tanggal 20 Februari jam 19.00 di Martyn Myer Arena, Victorian College of The Arts. Pementasan pun lancar.
Dan hari-hari lain masih menunggu, Kami selanjutnya pentaskan tanggal 22 – 23 Februari jam 17.00, tanggal 24 Februari jam 14.00, tanggal 26 – 28 Februari jam 19.00, dan terakhir tanggal 29 Februari jam 13.00 dan 17.00. [B]
