Lanus dan Sutirtha, Beri Workshop Seni di Jepang
Dua seniman muda asal Bali, I Ketut Lanus, S.Sn.,M.Pd dan I Wayan Sutirtha, S.Sn.M.Sn baru saja datang dari Negeri Sakura Jepang. Mereka didapuk sebagai narasumber kegiatan workshop seni budaya Bali di dua sekolah dan beberapa sanggar seni di Jepang. Lanus memberikan materi seni karawitan dan Sutirtha melatih gerak tari Bali. “Kami memberikan workshop seni tari dan gamelan Bali kepada anak-anak siswa di sana,” kata Sutirtha yang dosen Seni Pertunjukan Institut Seni Indonesia (ISI) Denpasar, Selasa 7 Januari 2020.
Kehadiran dua seniman kreatif di Negeri Matahari terbit itu, atas undangan Atsushi Ozawa, pimpinan Trifling Projeck bekerjasama dengan pecinta seni Bali di Jepang. Keduanya mengajar siswa yang ingin belajar seni tari dan memainkan gamelan Bali dari seniman Bali. Mereka sesungguhnya sudah biasa menari ataupun memainkan gamelan Bali, namun mereka ingin merasakan sentuhan dari penari ataupun penabuh orang Bali. “Kami memberikan workshop tari dan tabuh di dua sekolah yaitu Nitobe Bunka (setingkat SD) dan Akiruno Gakuen (SLB).”
Sutirta dan Lanus mengatakan, dua sekolah tersebut memiliki pelajaran tentang budaya Indonesia, khususnya tentang seni tari dan tabuh tradisional Bali. Sebelum mengikuti workshop ini, mereka belajar tari dan tabuh dari orang Jepang. Mereka juga belajar lewat video, sehingga kesempurnaan gerak dan teknik masih sebatas mengenal saja. “Setelah mereka berproses dalam kegiatan workshop tersebut, mereka akhirnya tahu tingkat kesulitan menari Bali itu. Terutama gerak nyeledet yang betul-betul membutuhkan teknik dan ekspresi yang kuat,” imbuhnya.
Kedua seniman muda itu kemudian lebih banyak mengenalkan teknik tari Bali, seperti nayog (cara berjalan), agem (sikap pokok dalam tari Bali), malpal (berjalan cepat dengan posisi rendah), seledet (gerak mata), nyelier dan dasar gerak tari lainnya. “Para siswa di Jepang ini, memang senang, bahkan selalu menggelar kegiatan seni khususnya tentang budaya Bali. Mereka belajar megamel gong kebyar, bahkan lagu Indonesia Raya. Kami disambut Lagu Indonesia Raya, benar-benar mengharukan,” ucap pengelola Sanggar Lokananta ini.
Lanus mengatakan, para siswa itu piawai melukis dengan inspirasi dari tari-tarian Baris. Mereka mengenal seni budaya Bali, tetapi belum menguasai secara sempurna. “Selama sepuluh hari di sana, kami juga memberikan pelatihan kepada seniman Jepang yang ingin mendalami gamelan dan tari Bali. Kami melakukan latihan bersama dengan mereka. Jujur, mereka rindu belajar dengan orang Bali. Mereka senang, belajar ilmu karawitan dan seni tari dari pelaku sesungguhnya, sehingga teknik mereka menjadi lebih baik,” jelas Dosen Seni IKIP PGRI Bali itu bangga.
Pemilik Sanggar Cahya Art ini mengatakan, masyarakat Jepang betul-betul mengagumi seni tradisi Bali yang sangat didukung dengan kegiatan budaya masyarakatnya. Mereka sangat kagum dengan keteguhan masyarakat Bali, walau dihimpit kemajuan jaman, terjepit dengan kehadiran teknologi, tetapi mampu menjaga kesenian tradisi hingga tetap bertahan. “Sanggar-sanggar seni yang mengajar kesenian Bali bertebaran di Jepang. Mereka rajin menggelar pementasan. Konon, mereka membuat sanggar seni karena cinta terhadap seni tari dan tabuh tradisional Bali. Mereka juga berharap mendapat kesempatan tampil dihadapan pemilik kesenian itu, baik diajang Pesta Kesenian Bali (PKB) atau ajang seni lainnya,” ujarnya.
Seniman asal Badung itu mengatakan, semangat dan keseriusan masyarakat Jepang mempelajari kesenian Bali patut diacungi jempol. Orang asing yang belajar kesenian Bali juga tidak salah, karena seni Bali itu sudah menginternasional. Hal ini, juga untuk memotivasi anak-anak muda di Bali untuk lebih bersemangat lagi belajar kesenian Bali. “Jujur, kami sangat bangga kesenian Bali dipelajari oleh orang asing. Dengan begitu, orang Bali menjadi lebih serius untuk mempertahankan kesenian yang adiluhung itu,” pungkas Lanus. (AD/Ar)
