Pemudi Canthi Kumara Kekeran Belajar Merangkai Bunga
Anak-anak muda hanya sibuk dengan urusan gadget dan medsos? Ah, nggak tuh. Lihat saja para Pemudi Canthi Kumara Banjar Kekeran, Desa Penatahan, Kecamatan Penebel, Kabupaten Tabanan ini, mereka mengisi hari libur dengan mengikuti kegiatan mini workshop merangkai dried flower. “Kami hanya ingin memanfaatkan waktu luang dengan hal-hal yang positif. Kegiatan ini untuk memupuk rasa kebersamaan diantara pemudi,” kata Komang Ayu Vika Triana Putri, salah satu peserta yang juga anggota Sekaa Teruna Teruni (STT) Canthi Kumara, Minggu (23/2).
Pelatihan yang berlangsung di Kubu Women Crisis Centre (WCC) Banjar Kekeran itu diikuti sebanyak 20 peserta. Sedang sebagai pelatih menfhadirkan Ni Luh Putu Diah Putri Rahayu, owner Mahra Florist, mahasiswa Psikologi Mercu Bhuana Yogyakarta yang juga anggota STT Canthi Kumara. Para peserta dilatih cara merangkai bunga mulai dari mencari bahan, mengeringkan hingga merangkainya. “Kegiatan ini sangat bermanfaat. Ini program untuk melatih keterampilan yang pasti berguna kedepannya,” ucap Vika.
Luh Putu Diah Putri Rahayu mengatakan, kegiatan ini sebagai ajang untuk berbagi ilmu kepada teman-teman khususnya para pemudi. Hal ini juga untuk membiasakan para generasi muda untuk lebih kreatif, dan tidak konsumtif. “Dalam pelatihan ini, kami juga memanfaatkan tanaman sekitar desa untuk disulap menjadi benda seni dan indah. Kalau bunga Edelweiss kami membelinya, tetapi bunga ilalang dan bunga lainnya itu kami mencarinya di kebun dan areal desa,” kata Diah senang.
Diah menambahkan, jenis bunga yang dirangkai itu bentuknya bermacam-macam, tetapi untuk kali ini metangkai bunga sebagai ucapan selamat pada mama, ibu atau orang tua. Meski terkesan sederhana, tetapi kegiatan ini sangat positif sebagai pemberdayaan ekonomi kreatif untuk perempuan dan remaja putri terutama untuk masyarakat kurang mampu. Workshop ini juga untuk membangkitkan ekonomi kreatif, sehingga bermanfaat kedepannya. “Selain untuk mengasah keterampilan, kegiatan ini juga untuk meningkatkan kebersamaan diantara anggota STT. Semoga, kegiatan ini tidak berhenti sampai disi. Kedepan, acara ini mesti rutin digelar,” harap gadis kreatif itu. (B/AR)
