Generasi Milenial Berwirausaha Melalui Digital
Gaung kebijakan ‘Merdeka Belajar’ penting dalam mengeksplorasi kreatifitas mahasiswa. Ilmu yang mereka dapatkan wajib link and mach dengan dunia luar.
Kebijakan tersebut diaplikasikan oleh Himpunan Mahasiswa Program Studi (HMPS) Ilmu Komunikasi STAHN Mpu Kuturan Singaraja melalui kegiatan Talkshow Compreneurship mengajak generasi milenial bijak dan kreatif menggunakan media digital untuk berwirausana.
Ketua Jurusan Dharma Duta, Dr. I Made Sedana, M.Pd mengungkapkan mahasiswa merupakan agent of change. Hal ini sejalan dengan kebijakan menteri pendidikan, Nadiem Makarim.
“Kampus Merdeka telah diterapkan oleh Jurusan Dharma Duta. Mahasiswa jurusan Dharma Duta sedari awal sudah menerapkan kebijakan ini. Seperti mereka mempraktekkan ilmu mereka melalui event Talkshow Compreneurship,” ungkap Made Sedana ketika memberikan sambutan sekaligus membuka Talkshow Entrepreneurship, di Gedung Sasana Budaya, Minggu (8/3/2020).
Plt Ketua Program Studi Ilmu Komunikasi, I Gede Titah Pratyaksa, M.I.Kom mengatakan pihaknya sangat mendukung kegiatan Talkshow Compreneurship. “Melalui kegiatan ini, kami merangkul mahasiswa agar mereka bisa mengeksplorasi ilmu yang mereka peroleh di kampus untuk diaplikasikan di dalam masyarakat,” kata Titah Pratyaksa.
Titah menegaskan, generasi milenial harus jeli melihat masalah menjadi peluang. Apa yang menjadi problem ada di masyarakat, bisa dicarikan solusi melalui media digital. Sehingga bisa menjadi ladang berwirausaha serta menghasilkan profit bagi generasi milineal.
Hadir sebagai narasumber yang berkompeten di bidangnya, antara lain Wayan Supada, Se., MM., Jero Jimiwi, S.Sos., M.Phil., CNLP., Cht., I.B. Gde Surya Bharata, S.Pd., MAP., dan Kadek Puja Astawa, S.E.
Komedian Kadek Puja Astawa, sangat senang bisa hadir di tengah-tengah generasi milenial Buleleng. Sembari stand up comedy, ia berpesan agar anak-anak muda segera mewujudkan mimpi mereka. Jangan hanya sebatas angan dan mimpi. Sedangkan Wayan Supada memberikan tips agar anak muda bisa berwirausaha sesuai dengan bidang yang mereka sukai.
Hal senada juga disampaikan oleh Jero Jimiwi. Generasi muda harus bekerja keras dan fokus menekuni salah satu bidang yang mereka sukai. Terkait wadah kreatifitas, narasumber Surya Bharata yang membawakan materi ‘ASRI Yuwana’ mengajak generasi muda untuk memanfaatkan Ruang Terbuka Hijau (RTH) Taman Yuwana Asri sebagai ruang kreatifitas.
Sementara itu Ketua HMPS Ilmu Komunikasi STAHN Mpu Kuturan Singaraja, Ganies Esa Manura, mengatakan bersyukur atas antusias ratusan peserta yang hadir. “Mereka dari kalangan dosen, mahasiswa dan pelajar SMA se Kabupaten Buleleng,” katanya.
Ketua Panitia, Kadek Kerta Yoga menegaskan tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk mengubah pola pikir generasi milenial agar lebih produktif dan kreatif sehingga bisa berwirausaha dengan memanfaatkan media digital. (B/Pra)
